This course is actually titled Leadership, Creativity and Organizational Renewal (LCOR) What is meant by leadership? What is meant by creativity? How can these two phenomenons be applied in a business organization context? Why do some organizations die while others survive? How do leadership and creativity affect organizational renewal? Exploring these questions forms the basis of this course. Through lectures, cases, readings, and in-class simulations, students will examine the connections among leadership, creativity and organizational renewal. Students will be expected to already have some basic knowledge of the concepts of leadership/creativity/organizational renewal in order to explore at a more advanced level and refine their understanding of these concepts and develop insights into how they can use them to build more successful careers and contribute more to their organizations and society.
