This course aims to introduce the students the recent financial practices which we often observe in Japanese corporations. By illustrating the historical and/or cultural backgrounds, we will discuss how, and in what ways, Japanese managers uniquely make decisions in financing and investing projects in contrast to the financial decision making processes in other nations. This course will first be devoted to the recent practices of finance from the viewpoints of capital markets in Japan.
