This course is intended for both native speakers of English and high-level, nonnative English speakers. The course will focus primarily on the skills necessary to give professional presentations in business settings. In addition to studying (via assigned readings and various multi-media sources) the fundamentals of business presentation skills, students will give three, in-class presentations. Presentations will be videoed for individual and peer review. Students will also explore some of the cultural norms associated with professional presentations in English speaking contexts.
