I’ve been studying at KGU to get my MBA degree since last year, after having graduated from the Goethe University in Frankfurt and the Osaka University. By the time I enrolled at KGU, I had already accumulated work experience in Germany, Turkey, Japan and France.

Among several attractive reasons I chose KGU, the most outstanding one is the KGU scholarship. Tuition, rent and living expenses are a large burden for me since I have nobody helping me financially. Without the scholarship, I would have to increase my part time work and therefore end up not having enough time for studying. The KGU scholarship is a large financial support for me. Up to 50 percent of the tuition is provided and the best part is: it doesn’t need to be paid back.

I highly recommend KGU. KGU has a solid reputation as an international business school with a big and active alumni network. It provides MBA courses in English, and various opportunities to find many business contacts. While being a student, I also work part time as a personal consultant. Many valuable clients, who are entrepreneurs and my seniors, trust in my opinions about business related issues, because they know that I study at the KGU’s prestigious IMC program. Thanks to the KGU, I continuously encounter new business opportunities. I believe that the network I gain at KGU will play an important role in my goal of setting up a business in Japan. Students, teachers and faculty staff are just like a family. The staff is always kind and helpful to students, especially to those who might not speak Japanese yet. Campuses are so beautiful, equipped with the latest technology, and lively with students from all over the world. The locations are convenient to help to explore the Kansai area, which offers Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto as main attractions.

One of the reasons why I came to Japan is that I like how Japanese people think of work. Work isn’t just work. They seem to work by a sense of mission and improve themselves through working hard. I have the same sense and I’m going to set up my business in Japan. I am also widening my experiences outside the university, such as joining business competitions and promoting international exchange by joining extracurricular activities. I’m going to make useful contribution to society in the name of KGU’s school motto “Mastery for service”.
