This cource will review the post-war development of the Japanese economy,starting from 1945 until present. During that time, Japanese economy has shown drastic changes not only in terms of economic growth rate, but also social,cultural and political aspects. By focusing on the economic factors, the lecture explains how those changes have been brought about with reference to the simple macroeconomic reasoning.
