The goal of the course is to enable students to be exposed to real world issues in Finance. These issues are generally contemporaneous such as Quantitative Easing by the Bank of Japan, Economic slowdown in China, M&A activities by the Japanese corporations, Regulation in the Hedge Fund industry, to name a few. I also invite three prominent practitioners ; CEO of S&P Japan, Executive Director of ALICO Japan, and Executive Director of M&A Brokerage House.
